Mecca Learning Center

Mecca Learning Center
Overview

A mosque and learning centre, built at scale.

A detailed physical model developed for the Mecca Learning Center, a mosque and community-focused learning facility in Washington, D.C.

The model translates the architectural design into a carefully crafted three-dimensional representation, capturing the building's distinctive Islamic architectural character, including its prominent central dome, slender minarets and interconnected building volumes. Particular attention was given to the relationship between the architecture and its surrounding site.

Beyond the building itself, the model incorporates landscaped open spaces, patterned pedestrian paving, curved walkways, planting beds, perimeter roads and extensive parking. Scale vehicles and detailed site elements further establish the context and give the model a realistic sense of scale.

Fabricated through our India-based production network, the project demonstrates ADPL's ability to deliver highly detailed architectural physical models with the precision required for professional presentations, design reviews and client discussions, while maintaining a cost-efficient production approach.
