Mitchell House Alteration

The Mitchell House alteration is documented as a site-led project. A dimensioned site plan sets out the driveway, hardscape, planting and tree positions across the property before the drawings move to the individual structures added to it.

The porte-cochere is drawn in front elevation, left elevation and section, with a cupola and finial above a timber truss carried on paired structural columns over stone-clad bases. Axonometric views separate the structural column pair from the non-structural cladding so the two are never confused on site.

Further details resolve the purlin connections and the reinforced footings beneath each column, alongside a masonry outdoor fireplace drawn as part of the same package.
